Shipping Policy

Last updated: 14 September 2026

This Shipping Policy explains how orders placed with Printora Limited, trading as Printora, are processed, dispatched and delivered.

We currently deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom only.

We aim to prepare and dispatch every order as quickly as reasonably possible. Please allow for both the processing time and the delivery time when estimating when your order will arrive.

1. Order Processing

Most orders require approximately 1–2 working days of processing time before they are dispatched.

Processing time is separate from the delivery time provided by the courier. For example, if an order requires two working days to prepare, the courier's delivery timeframe begins once the order has been dispatched.

We always aim to process orders sooner where possible. Processing times are estimates and can vary depending on the product, quantity ordered, stock availability, personalisation requirements and seasonal demand.

2. Personalised and Made-to-Order Products

Many Printora products are printed, personalised or otherwise produced specifically for your order.

Personalised and made-to-order products may require additional preparation time before dispatch.

Unless a different timeframe is shown on the relevant product page or agreed with you, we will make reasonable efforts to produce and dispatch your order as quickly as possible.

Once production has started, it may not be possible to change or cancel a personalised or made-to-order item. Please see our Return and Refund Policy for more information.

3. Large, Batch and Bespoke Orders

Large quantity orders, workwear orders, custom printing orders, personalised batches and other more complex orders may require additional production time.

As a general guide, larger orders may require up to approximately one week of processing before dispatch, depending on quantity, stock availability and the work required.

Very large, bespoke or unusual orders may occasionally take longer. Where we reasonably expect a significant additional delay, we will normally contact you with an estimated timeframe.

Where a specific production or delivery timeframe has been agreed with you separately, that agreed timeframe will apply.

4. Working Days

Our standard processing days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.

We do not normally process or dispatch orders at weekends.

Some couriers may deliver on Saturdays or Sundays. Weekend delivery depends on the courier and service being used and is not guaranteed unless specifically stated.

Unless otherwise stated, processing and delivery estimates should therefore be understood as working days.

5. Delivery Times

Delivery estimates shown on our website, at checkout or in an order confirmation are estimates unless the particular delivery service is expressly described as guaranteed.

Delivery time begins once your order has completed its processing period and has been dispatched.

We will make reasonable efforts to deliver your order within the timeframe communicated to you.

Where no specific delivery date or period has been agreed, we will deliver without undue delay and within the period required by applicable UK consumer law.

For consumer purchases, UK law generally requires delivery within 30 days of the contract being entered into where no different delivery timeframe has been agreed.

6. Courier Delays

Once an order has been dispatched, delays can occasionally occur within the courier network because of circumstances such as:

  • high parcel volumes;
  • severe weather;
  • transport disruption;
  • industrial action;
  • local delivery issues; or
  • other operational problems.

If your parcel appears to be delayed, please contact us at orders@printora.co.uk and include your order number wherever possible.

We will investigate the issue with the courier, review available tracking information and take reasonable steps to locate or deliver the parcel.

We may ask you to allow us a reasonable opportunity to complete the courier investigation before a replacement, refund or other appropriate remedy is arranged.

Nothing in this policy limits any statutory delivery rights available to you under UK consumer law.

7. Missing Orders and Parcels Marked as Delivered

If tracking information shows that your parcel has been delivered but you cannot locate it, please first check:

  • around your property;
  • any safe place you nominated;
  • with other members of your household;
  • with neighbours where appropriate;
  • any nominated recipient or reception area; and
  • any delivery photograph, card or tracking information supplied by the courier.

If you are still unable to locate the parcel, please contact us as soon as possible at orders@printora.co.uk.

We ask that missing deliveries or parcels unexpectedly shown as delivered are reported to us within 48 hours of the delivery notification wherever reasonably possible.

Reporting a delivery problem promptly gives us the best opportunity to obtain relevant tracking information, delivery photographs, GPS information or other evidence from the courier.

Reporting an issue after 48 hours does not automatically remove your statutory rights. However, a significant delay in reporting an issue may make an investigation more difficult.

We will normally investigate the delivery with the courier before determining the appropriate replacement, refund or other remedy.

8. Responsibility for Your Order During Delivery

For consumer orders, Printora remains responsible for the goods until they are delivered into your physical possession or into the physical possession of a person you have identified to receive them.

This means that simply handing your parcel to our chosen courier does not transfer responsibility for the goods to you.

Where you specifically instruct the courier to deliver to a nominated safe place, neighbour or other nominated recipient, delivery completed in accordance with those instructions may be treated as delivery to a place or person authorised by you.

This does not affect rights available to you where the courier has failed to follow your instructions or where the delivery has otherwise not been completed correctly.

9. Incorrect or Incomplete Delivery Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address when placing an order.

Please check your:

  • recipient name;
  • house number or house name;
  • street;
  • town or city;
  • postcode; and
  • any relevant delivery instructions

before completing checkout.

If you notice an address error after placing your order, please contact us immediately at orders@printora.co.uk.

If the order has not yet entered production or dispatch, we will make reasonable efforts to correct the address.

We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once an order has entered production, been packed or been handed to a courier.

Where incorrect or incomplete delivery information supplied by the customer causes a parcel to be returned to us, we may ask the customer to pay the reasonable cost of sending the order again.

Where a customer has supplied an incorrect address and an order has been delivered correctly to that address, we will investigate the circumstances before determining whether a replacement, refund or redelivery is appropriate.

This does not affect your rights where the delivery problem was caused by Printora, our systems or a courier acting on our behalf rather than by incorrect information supplied by you.

10. Failed Delivery Attempts and Returned Parcels

If nobody is available when delivery is attempted, the courier may:

  • attempt delivery again;
  • leave the parcel in an authorised safe place;
  • deliver it to an authorised neighbour;
  • take it to an appropriate collection point; or
  • provide instructions explaining how to arrange redelivery or collection.

Please follow any reasonable collection or redelivery instructions provided by the courier.

If a parcel is eventually returned to Printora following unsuccessful delivery attempts, please contact us.

Depending on the circumstances, we may be able to arrange redelivery. Where the failed delivery was caused by incorrect information supplied by the customer or a failure to collect the parcel, we may require payment of reasonable additional delivery costs before sending it again.

11. Safe Places and Nominated Recipients

If you ask a courier to leave your order in a safe place, with a neighbour or with another nominated recipient, please make sure your instructions are accurate and the nominated location is suitable.

Where delivery instructions have been provided directly to a courier after dispatch, please retain confirmation of those instructions where possible.

If the courier does not follow your instructions or you believe a parcel has been incorrectly delivered, please contact us so that we can investigate.

12. Damaged Parcels

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Where possible, please provide:

  • your order number;
  • photographs of the outer packaging;
  • photographs of the damaged product; and
  • a short description of the problem.

This information helps us investigate the issue with the courier and resolve the matter as quickly as possible.

A request to report damage promptly does not limit your statutory rights in relation to faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods.

13. UK Delivery Only

Printora currently ships orders to addresses within the United Kingdom only.

We do not currently offer standard international delivery through our website.

If international delivery is introduced in the future, different delivery times, charges, customs requirements, taxes and other terms may apply.

14. Stock Availability

Some of our products use stock supplied by third-party garment suppliers.

Although we make reasonable efforts to keep stock information accurate, there may occasionally be a short delay between supplier stock changing and the information shown on our website.

If an item, colour or size becomes unavailable after you place your order, we will contact you where necessary and may offer:

  • a suitable alternative;
  • a reasonable wait for replacement stock;
  • removal of the unavailable item from the order; or
  • a refund for the unavailable item.

15. Changes and Cancellations Before Dispatch

If you need to change an order or delivery address, please contact us as quickly as possible.

We cannot guarantee that changes or cancellations can be made once production has started, particularly where the item is personalised or has been made specifically for you.

Your cancellation and return rights are explained in our Return and Refund Policy.

16. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

Occasionally, processing or delivery may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:

  • severe weather;
  • flooding or fire;
  • courier disruption;
  • transport disruption;
  • industrial action;
  • supplier disruption;
  • telecommunications or system failures; or
  • government action or other exceptional events.

Where an event outside our reasonable control affects your order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the impact and keep you informed where appropriate.

Nothing in this section removes any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

17. Contact Us About a Delivery

If your order is delayed, missing, damaged, incorrectly delivered or you have another shipping question, please contact us and include your order number wherever possible.
